Stewardship Guidelines

As Catholics we live in a covenant with God, and by this covenant we accept certain obligations including giving to the Church. As you think about your gifts to the Church, consider these guidelines on tithing:

Give back to God according to the way God has given to you.

Giving should represent a sacrifice.

Scripture says the sacrifice should be ten percent.

We should give a high priority to gifts that will help our larger Catholic family. Of your ten percent, give five percent to your parish in the Sunday collection and five percent to for the world’s poor through causes you wish to support including the Progress Campaign.

Stewardship is giving back to God all that He has given us.
