Grants Development

The Grants Development Office of the Foundation was created to support the ministries, parishes, schools, related entities and special projects of the Diocese of El Paso by acquiring external grant funds. The Grants Development Office seeks grants from a variety of sources, including private foundations, corporations, and governmental agencies. Since 1993, the Grants Office has secured $14,668,771 in grants for the Diocese of El Paso.

In 2012, the Grants Office secured 79 grants totaling $1,172,350 for diocesan ministries, parishes, schools and related entities; 78% of all applications were approved.

Grants were received from 17 local, state, and national organizations and foundations.
