The 2010 Progress Appeal will take place on February 6-7 and February 13-14 in every parish in the 10 counties of the Diocese of El Paso. This year’s theme, Tend My Sheep, Feed My Sheep, asks us to be shepherds of the Church, our community of faith and the 17 diocesan ministries.  A wide range of ministries depend on our generous support including St. Charles Seminary, the Family Life Ministry, and the Office of Education.

All registered parishioners have received a letter from Bishop Ochoa enclosed with a pledge form inviting participation in support of this year’s Progress Annual Appeal.  Please complete the pledge form and return it in the mail or bring it to Mass during the Commitment Weekends.  If you prefer, you may phone in your pledge directly to the Progress Office at 872-8412 or make your gift at www.elpasodiocesefoundation.org.  Your generosity will allow our Catholic community to continue the many vital programs and services that touch the lives of our brothers and sisters.  Our parish goal for this year is $                        .

PROGRESS 2010 ANNUAL APPEAL
Tend My Sheep, Feed My Sheep

If you have not already offered your pledge to this year’s Progress Annual Appeal, please do so today.  We are counting on you to respond to this year’s scriptural passage from the Gospel of John, Jesus told them, “Tend my sheep……Feed my sheep.”   This passage was chosen because it honors our clergy during this Year for Priests and it asks all of us to be shepherds of our Church.  Funds provided through the Progress Campaign help to bring Christ’s comfort and support for the many pressing needs and priorities that cannot be addressed individually or by one parish alone.  Effectively continuing Jesus’ mission and ministry requires a united effort by every Catholic throughout our diocesan church.  Pledge envelopes are located in the lobby and can be dropped at the parish office or in the collection basket.  You may also call in your pledge to the Progress office at 872-8412 or make a gift online at www.elpasodiocesefoundation.org.
