Progress Annual Appeal

The 2008 Progress Annual Appeal marks the Silver Anniversary of our diocesan-wide efforts to nurture the spiritual growth of our Catholic community. The 25th Annual Progress Appeal is about expanding our faith, caring for the needs of others and providing the financial resources needed to support the 17 ministries of our diocese.

The Progress Annual Appeal, above all else, is a natural extension of the concept of Christian Stewardship. Stewardship is based on the daily practical recognition that we are not the absolute owners of ourselves, our time, our talents or material goods. We have received every gift of nature and grace from God. Through Baptism we are called to use our time, talent and treasure in a responsible manner for our families, our parish communities, the pastoral ministries of the diocese, and for the global ministries of the universal Church.

The Progress Annual Appeal is the one diocesan-wide campaign that serves the needs of our people beyond the boundaries of any one parish. We invite you to participate in the Progress Appeal both through a commitment to prayer and a Progress gift.
