2008 Progress Prayer

Gracious and Loving God,

We thank You for generously sending your only Son Jesus to be our Savior,
opening for us the way to redemption and everlasting life.

We thank you for calling us into service in your name.

Bless our efforts through the Progress Annual Appeal as our diocese seeks
to gather the resources needed to faithfully answer your call to service.

Help us to live each day mindful that we are our brother’s keeper
by sharing our time, talent, and treasure for the building up of your Kingdom.

Give us the grace to support the Progress Annual Appeal
so we can continue to serve the people of God in West Texas.

May our willingness to share these gifts bear witness
to our love for you and for all creation.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
