Goal and Parish Share
On December 4, 2009, the Foundation Board of Directors adopted the following policies for the Progress 2010 Appeal.
Campaign Goal $2,100,000
Basis of Goal Diocesan Ministry Needs
Parish Goals Apportioned by Sunday and Holy Day Collections (16.0%)
Parish Share Parishes receive 50% of all funds collected over 100% of individual parish goal
Year for Priests
The church has designated June 19, 2009 to June 19, 2010 as “The Year for Priests.” The following scriptural passage from St. John was chosen to recognize the service of priests and to emphasize the need for parishioners to also be shepherds of the Church.
Jesus told them, “Tend my sheep……Feed my sheep.” (John 21:16-17)
