Set Your Clocks for El Paso Giving Day Beginning November 7

November 06, 2019

El Paso Giving Day is launching on November 7 and culminating on November 14, 2019 and we're fundraising for UTEP's Catholic Campus Ministry (Newman Club), and the San Romero University Ministry Student Center, led by Franciscan Friar Mario Serrano. El Paso Giving Day was created by the Paso del Norte Community Foundation to support our thriving community of nonprofits.

Support the vital work of the Catholic Campus Ministry at UTEP—retreats, meals, formation, fellowship, mission trips—with a gift in any amount. Walmart is matching up to $1 million for funds raised during the El Paso Giving campaign. Your contributions will go directly to support the work of students in Catholic ministry at UTEP.

Meet Friar Mario and the students on November 14!
Brown Bag Holy Hour, 12-1pm
Traffic Jam Power Hour, 4-5
2230 N. Oregon near UTEP/behind GECU

Can't make it? Donate online. Every dollar counts. Online donations made between November 7 and November 14 will qualify for the matching funds. Want to pay by check? All checks must be made out to the Paso del Norte Community Foundation with Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso written in the memo line. Checks must be dated between November 7 through November 14.

Walmart will award up to $1.5 million in matching grants to eligible El Paso nonprofits through two local initiatives. The first component of the company’s commitment is a match up to $1 million for funds raised during the El Paso Giving campaign launching November 7 and culminating on El Paso Giving Day, the one-day fundraising event hosted on November 14 by the Paso del Norte Community Foundation to benefit verified 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofits that are headquartered or provide services in El Paso. The matching grant is the largest ever donation commitment to the El Paso Giving Day initiative.
