Grants Development

The Grants Development Office of the Foundation was created to assist diocesan organizations in securing external resources to support their missions. Grants are awarded directly to designated parishes, schools and ministries.

The following is a breakdown of the grants the Foundation was able to secure on behalf of diocesan parishes, ministries, schools and related entities in the Diocese of El Paso during the 2016 year. 106 grant applications were submitted, with 56 being approved, 24 denied and 26 still pending. Grants still pending are totaling $450,299.90. Grant revenue is given directly to the entities and is not reflected as income on the Foundation’s financial statements.

Grants for diocesan ministries total $497,071.54 (62% approved). 16 ministries have received grants, ranging from $1,667.30 to $36,800.
