This year our guest is Emmy award-winning actor, director, producer, and philanthropist Jim Caviezel. The Foundation of Faith Dinner aims to bring the community together to celebrate faith, experience renowned national and international speakers, and disseminate the Stewardship message of, “Pray, Serve, Give.”
Join us for the 14th Annual Foundation of Faith Dinner on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the El Paso Convention Center from 5-9pm, with cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres beginning at 5pm. The evening includes the cocktail reception, a seated dinner with wine, Dei Gratia Award presentation honoring Fr. Rick Matty†, live auction, and keynote speaker, Jim Caviezel.
Emmy Award-winning actor, director, producer and philanthropist Jim Caviezel is best known for his portrayal of Jesus in The Passion of the Christ, a role that earned him a Grace Award for the Most Inspired Movie Acting. Caviezel played a string of roles in Diggstown; Wyatt Earp; GI Jane opposite Demi Moore; and My Own Private Idaho which earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award. His breakthrough role came in 1998 when he was cast alongside Sean Penn and Adrien Brody in the Oscar-nominated film The Thin Red Line. Premiering in 2011, Jim starred as ex-CIA special operations agent Jon Reese in CBS's critically lauded drama Person of Interest, which ran for five seasons. In 2019, Caviezel starred in The Sound of Freedom, playing Tim Ballard, the founder of Operation Underground Railroad.
A VIP event with Jim Caviezel for sponsors of $2,500 and up is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 from 6-9pm at a private home. Tickets are $125 per person and $1,250 per table. Sponsorship opportunities are available from $2,500 to $35,000.
Proceeds from this event support the work of the Foundation in sustaining the long-term needs of the ministries, charities, parishes and schools of our diocese.
